There will be Glory: After this
The human life has been associated with turmoil from close to the beginning of time. Today, it is no different. We all from time to time, experience different challenges in our lives. It is said that these trails are meant to mould us, but sometimes don't you think it is just too much? Yes, I have been in situations where I felt like God had abandoned me. We all have them, but I was made to remember the story of Job.
Job was a faithful and upright man of God who the word of God recorded was the wealthiest man in the east at that time. However as we all know, he lost all he had, including his family. How many of us are going through a time of loss, hurt or pain in this current season? Like Job, the Lord is depending on us to endure our hardship with him so that his glory can be revealed in us.
The Book of Romans 8:17 & 18 says, "And if we are children, then we are heirs: heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ—if indeed we suffer with Him, so that we may also be glorified with Him. Consider that our present sufferings are not comparable to the glory that will be revealed in us."
So, Job was faithful in his time of struggles, and let me point out that his story has not been rivalled by any other that we've heard of to date and even in his pain, he held on to the promise of God and was restored. Today I want somebody to understand that this situation that you find yourself in, is nothing comparable to the glory that is coming your way. God has seen your oppressors, he has seen your sickness, he has seen your hard times and he is saying to you in this very moment, hold on, THERE WILL BE GLORY AFTER THIS.
